3 years ago we were out-and-about one night into the early morning hours and we were
in search of some place to go. Some place we could go that would
appeal to us, and would be open at strange hours of the night. It
had to feature "cool" things that were un-produced, organic, and felt
like it came from a living breathing person and not a media machine.
This place would have to have tons of anime, videogames, international media,
movies, and decent self produced and motivated artwork. We were looking for a transnational,
interdimensional coffe shop on the edge of the kingdom at the end of twilight.
We were imagining what the coolest little 24hr spot in philly should be like.
The oLounge was what we had conjured up, of course we didn't know it at the time....but thats what this place is like
or at least what we would like it to be.
